Welcome to my Web site. I wear many hats, writer, speaker, conference director. Mostly I want to inspire others to become better than what they are now--better wives, better mothers, better writers.
I'm best known for my book When Love Dies: How to Save a Hopeless Marriage. I wrote it woman to woman because I was once there and I know how painful it is to be in a hurting marriage. There are no easy answers, but I can say readers have found comfort and hope in my writing. Some who thought they were on the verge of divorce have decided to stay and report they once again are happy.
I love to speak to groups. My favorite topics are Leaving a Legacy of Love—how you can find God’s love and reach out to a hurting world, Expectations—how they effect your marriage and your happiness, and Unexpected Encounters--how you can reach out at those moment of crisis to a hurting friend or coworker.
My articles have appeared in Reader's Digest, Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul, Today's Christian Woman, and numerous other places. I taught creative writing for over fifteen years and am available to speak at writing conferences on such topics as Perfect Plots, The Voice Within (discovering your writing style), Query Letters that Sell, and many more.
